STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Scriptures in both Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of
God and are without error in the original manuscripts. Therefore, the holy Bible is the
all-encompassing final authority pertaining to faith, morals, and the revealed Word of God
in matters of revelation and salvation.
There is one sovereign, eternal God existing in three persons: Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, the second Person of the holy Trinity is true God and true
man. The living Word became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and
His virgin birth. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to
Scripture. He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right
hand of the Majesty on High. He is our High Priest and Mediator.
The Holy Spirit, third Person of the holy Trinity, glorifies Jesus
Christ in our present age. He convicts us of sin and draws us to the Savior. He
regenerates believing sinners and indwells the born again believer. He guides,
instructs, and empowers the children of God so that they can lead godly lives.
Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin. Apart from Christ
all people are lost and estranged from God. Only those who place their faith in Jesus
Christ alone for their salvation can be saved. God credits His righteousness to those who
believe, justifying them in His sight. Those born of the Holy Spirit become the children
of God and heirs of eternal life.
The Lord Jesus Christ will come again, personally, visibly, and bodily.
This is the "Blessed Hope" and in this age believers await for His
return.
The resurrection of the dead with the believer obtaining everlasting
blessedness and the unbeliever everlasting judgment will occur at the end of time.
"Come, Lord Jesus" (Revelation 22:20)
